Yin Yoga

  • In Yin yoga the poses are held for 3-5 minutes, mainly in a lying down or seated position. The longer stretches aim to release tension and restore range of motion to muscles and connective tissues like tendons, fascia, and ligaments.
  • The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.
  • We also work with the Chinese Traditional Medicine targeting specific organs using the meridian channels.
  • A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of the inner talks and surrending into a complete stillness.

Yoga in mauritius - classes with Patricia Tschopp

Patricia became a yoga teacher in May 2017 at the age of 50 from the School of Sacred Art in Bali. Since then, she facilitate weekly sessions in different studios in Mauritius. Fully passionate, she continued her education in Yin and Therapeutic yoga in Bali and attended several courses in Europe. Very intuitive and constantly on the move, Patricia surprises her students with personalized attentions. She has now create her own studio in Mauritius and welcome you in her peaceful home by the beach. She teaches in English and French.
